The Nasdaq-listed company said it purchased the coins from August 17 to August 21 at an average of about $73,409 each, lifting its bitcoin treasury to 21,356 coins.

Strive, Inc., the Nasdaq-listed bitcoin treasury company, bought 1,110 bitcoin last week, marking its largest single-week purchase in months, according to a Monday filing cited by Bitcoin Magazine. The company said the buy lifted its treasury to 21,356 coins.

Shares in Strive, ticker ASST, rose following the news, trading more than 7% higher on Monday. Bitcoin Magazine also noted that Strive is an asset manager that rebranded in 2025 as a publicly traded bitcoin treasury company.

Strive said the purchases were made from August 17 through August 21 at an average price of about $73,409 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses, for total consideration near $81.5 million. The filing also indicated the company funded the buys with proceeds from at-the-market offerings of its ASST and SATA shares.

Bitcoin Magazine reported Strive’s holdings increased roughly 5.5% from the 20,246 coins it reported in mid-August, and the timing followed a rally in bitcoin. Bitcoin rose nearly 25% last week, closing Friday at $77,387, before trading near $80,000 on Monday.
