OKX survey shows social media leads crypto learning among students

Only about 28% of accredited US business schools offer blockchain courses, the survey says, despite 90% of students supporting crypto teaching.

A survey commissioned by crypto exchange OKX found that most US students say colleges should teach crypto and blockchain, but many are learning primarily through social media instead of formal coursework.

The review cited by OKX found that about 28% of accredited US business schools offered blockchain courses, even though 90% of students and 87% of parents supported adding such instruction in college.

Among students surveyed by OKX, 33% said social media or influencers were their most important source of crypto information, compared with a much smaller share who pointed to schools, teachers, or professors.

OKX surveyed 500 students and 500 parents via Pollfish, and did not disclose the survey weighting, margin of error, or respondents' crypto ownership rates, according to Cointelegraph.
