Stotan Industrial buys 32,937 sq ft facility in Itasca near O’Hare
The 2.47 acre DuPage County property is positioned for tenants needing quick access to Route 390 and Interstates 290 and 355, about 15 minutes from O’Hare Airport’s South Cargo facilities.
Stotan Industrial, in partnership with 56 Maple, acquired 1101 W. Thorndale Avenue in Itasca, Illinois, a 32,937 square foot industrial facility in Chicago’s supply constrained O’Hare submarket, according to ConnectCRE.
The property spans 2.47 acres in DuPage County and provides immediate access to Illinois Route 390, Interstate 290, and Interstate 355, with the facility about 15 minutes from O’Hare International Airport and its South Cargo facilities.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Eric Fischer and Gabriel Strauss represented the seller. ConnectCRE said Stotan sourced the deal through longstanding relationships in the Chicago industrial market, as the prior owner prepared to transition out of the facility.
Stotan Development Manager Blake Waeghe said the acquisition offered a high quality industrial asset in an infill market and a long term facility solution for a growing tenant, noting that buildings of this size and quality are increasingly difficult to find in the O’Hare market.
