U.S. sanctions about 24 China-based entities tied to Iran trade
The Treasury action was framed as part of its “Operation Economic Outcast” campaign against Iran and companies enabling its activities.
The U.S. Department of the Treasury has issued targeted sanctions against some 24 entities based in mainland China or Hong Kong that are linked to trading with Iran, according to reporting by SCMP Economy.
