BMO and REX Shares launch 3x leveraged AI ETN linked to NYSE MANGOS+

The MicroSectors MNGU ETN starts trading Aug. 26, 2026 on NYSE Arca, and it carries daily leverage reset risk that can diverge from 3x cumulative index moves over longer periods.

Bank of Montreal and REX Shares have launched a new MicroSectors 3× Long MANGOS+ ex Private Companies ETN, known as MNGU, scheduled to mature on July 31, 2046, according to ETF Trends.

The note began trading Aug. 26, 2026 on NYSE Arca and is designed to provide “sophisticated investors” with three times leveraged participation in the daily performance of the NYSE MANGOS+ Index after fees, charges, and the effect of daily leverage resetting, the outlet said.

The equally weighted index tracks 10 U.S.-listed companies in the AI sector, including anchor names such as Meta Platforms, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Alphabet, OpenAI and Space Exploration Technologies, per the launch materials cited by ETF Trends.

While the product targets leveraged exposure to the index, ETF Trends noted that daily leverage resets can cause performance over periods longer than one trading day to differ significantly from three times the underlying index’s cumulative return, especially during volatile markets. The launch also expands MicroSectors, which now includes roughly 35 exchange traded products with more than $9 billion in combined assets.
