Hy-Tech Engineers IPO demand surges, grey market signals higher price

Hy-Tech Engineers is set to open bidding Aug. 24 to Aug. 27, with allotment expected Aug. 28 and a likely NSE and BSE debut on Sept. 1, 2026.

LiveMint Markets reported that the Hy-Tech Engineers IPO drew very strong demand in the subscription round, with the issue booked 244 times versus 184.07 times for Tempsens Instruments.

The article said non-institutional investors led the Hy-Tech Engineers response at 412 times the shares on offer, followed by retail participation at 175 times and qualified institutional buyers at 249 times, while Tempsens saw the highest demand from non-institutional investors at 314.44 times.

According to LiveMint Markets, the grey market premium for Hy-Tech Engineers stood at ₹44, implying an estimated listing price of ₹97 based on its upper price band, while Tempsens Instruments was quoted with a ₹307 GMP, suggesting an estimated listing price of ₹607.

The report also detailed that Hy-Tech Engineers plans to raise ₹136 crore through the IPO with bidding between Aug. 24 and Aug. 27 at a price range of ₹50 to ₹53 per share, with an expected allotment date of Aug. 28 and share debuts on the NSE and BSE on Sept. 1, 2026.
