The outlet said about 17,600 individuals reported a combined $1.9 billion in crypto gains during that period, based on reported tax declarations.
The figures highlight how many taxpayers in the UK are recording substantial profits tied to digital assets under the country’s tax reporting system, Cointelegraph added.
