Bybit to launch 24/7 options on SpaceX and Nvidia stock perpetuals

The new contracts begin Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. UTC and will trade with fractional lots and USDT settlement, plus portfolio margin and multi-option strategies.

Crypto exchange Bybit is launching 24/7 options tied to stock perpetual contracts, starting with SpaceX (SPCX) and Nvidia (NVDA). According to The Block, the offering begins Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. UTC and will be fully integrated into Bybit’s Unified Trading Account.

Bybit said users will be able to trade the options around the clock with fractional lots and USDT settlement. The products are also designed to support portfolio margin, with strategies including buying and selling options, spreads, straddles, and covered calls.

The exchange plans to add new expiries regularly and expand the underlyings beyond SpaceX and Nvidia, including Tesla (TSLA), QQQ, SOXL, and Micron (MU). Bybit also said the launch targets access to U.S. equity options without traditional market-hour limits or the standard 100-share contract minimum.

The Block also noted that Bybit’s move builds on earlier efforts to mix tokenized equities with trading tools. In July, Ondo said tokenized stocks could be used as collateral to trade perpetuals, extending tokenized equities beyond basic buy-and-hold exposure.
