Park Medi plans to expand network capacity to 5,740 beds by FY28

The company says it will add about 2,130 beds over the next two years and fund most of the incremental capex of about ₹6,280 million through internal accruals and cash, with no major debt or equity dilution.

Park Medi is targeting a hospital network capacity of 5,740 beds over the next two years, which would involve adding approximately 2,130 beds, the company said in its FY26 annual report, according to LiveMint Markets.

The expansion plan includes delivery through a mix of greenfield development, capacity expansions, strategic acquisitions, and operate-and-manage arrangements, with growth concentrated in states where it already operates, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttarakhand.

As part of the rollout, Park Medi says it has commissioned The Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, a 330-bed facility that was commissioned in August 2026 and was described as the largest multi-super-speciality hospital in the Kumaon region. Park Medi also said acquisitions have remained central to its growth, noting that 11 of its 17 operational hospitals were added through acquisitions, and that the Medicity acquisition marks its entry into Uttarakhand, the sixth state where it has a presence.

On the financial side, Park Medi reported that revenue from operations rose 21% year-on-year to ₹16,794 million in FY26, driven by improved occupancy, higher average revenue per occupied bed, and new hospitals in Bhatinda and Agra. It also said EBITDA increased 20% to ₹4,443 million, and that the incremental capex needed to add 1,780 beds excluding Panchkula is estimated at approximately ₹6,280 million, with the program expected to be funded largely through internal accruals and existing cash rather than major additional debt or equity dilution.
