Swiss Re names new leadership for property and P&C re underwriting strategy
The appointments include Sanghita Nandy as Head of P&C Treaty UW Advisory and Francesco Atzeni as Head of P&C Re Underwriting Strategy and Portfolio Steering.
Global reinsurer Swiss Re appointed Sanghita Nandy and Francesco Atzeni to leadership roles within its Global Property and P&C Re Underwriting Strategy team.
Nandy will serve as Head of P&C Treaty UW Advisory. The company said she has spent the past 11 years at Swiss Re and previously worked across areas including natural catastrophe modelling and analytics, property treaty costing, cyber insurance, Takaful, surety, risk engineering and product management.
Atzeni was named Head P&C Re Underwriting Strategy and Portfolio Steering. Swiss Re said he spent the past seven years at the reinsurer, most recently as Portfolio Strategy and Analytics Manager in its CUO P&C Reinsurance role, where he helped shape the target direction of the P&C Reinsurance underwriting portfolio.
Swiss Re’s Chief Underwriting Officer Property Mohit Pande said in a LinkedIn post that the hires reflect the firm’s underwriting expertise and commitment to underwriting excellence, and he expressed optimism about what the pair will achieve together.
