Bosch Rexroth opens $20M Lehigh Valley logistics center
The new 50,000-square-foot warehouse adds automated storage and retrieval, boosting on-site storage capacity by 50%.
Bosch Rexroth has held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new $20 million logistics center at Lehigh Valley Industrial Park in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, according to ConnectCRE.
The facility includes a 50,000-square-foot warehouse equipped with automated storage and retrieval systems, which the outlet says increases the site’s storage capacity by 50%.
ConnectCRE also reported that Bosch Rexroth has operated in the region for nearly 60 years and currently employs about 300 people at its existing location, where it designs and manufactures advanced hydraulic components and systems for industrial machinery.
The expansion was constructed by J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. and designed by Spillman Farmer Architects, and the company said the project reflects confidence in its North America industrial hydraulics team and the local Lehigh Valley opportunity, as quoted by ConnectCRE.
