Robinhood Chain logs record $989 million in daily DEX volume
Robinhood Chain total value locked rose to a record $708 million in August, nearly doubling month over month.
Robinhood Chain set a record for single day decentralized exchange trading volume, reaching $989 million on Friday, according to The Block’s Data and Insights newsletter.
The outlet said the chain’s total value locked hit a record $708 million, a near 100% increase month over month, while stablecoin supply on the chain was around $770 million, up 47% month over month.
The Block also noted that the mix of tokens driving growth has shifted since July, when the chain was dominated by memecoin beta, toward utility and infrastructure tokens in August.
One example highlighted is PONS, a dominant launchpad, with its market cap growing from $20 million to over $200 million during the month, while memecoins paired against tokenized stocks now account for roughly a quarter of all stock linked trading volume on Robinhood Chain.
