Evergreen breaks ground on three affordable assisted living communities in Ohio

The three projects total 120 units, with 67 studios and 53 one-bedroom apartments for seniors across income levels.

Chicago-based Evergreen Real Estate Group has broken ground on three affordable assisted living communities in Ohio near Dayton and Columbus, with construction underway at all sites.

Construction is now underway on Green Oaks of Fairborn at 2124 Exchange Court in Fairborn, about 15 miles east of downtown Dayton. Work has also begun on Green Oaks of Grove City at 3000 Holt Road in Grove City, about 10 miles south of Columbus, and Green Oaks of Walnut Creek at 4000 Westerville Road in Columbus.

Each development is planned as a three- or four-story building with 120 units, including 67 studio and 53 one-bedroom apartments for seniors across a range of income levels, according to ConnectCRE.

WJW Architects designed the communities, The Douglas Company is the general contractor, and Gardant Management Solutions will operate the properties as residential care facilities, ConnectCRE said.
