Shein speeds IPO in Hong Kong to avoid early payout
The Hong Kong IPO timing was described as helping the company sidestep billions owed to early investors.
WSJ Markets reports that Shein’s initial public offering in Hong Kong this week was structured to help the company avoid paying out billions to early investors.
The outlet said the IPO timing gave Shein a way to accelerate the process ahead of those payments.
