Iran says Hormuz tankers struck naval mines after U.S. strikes
Iran said two tankers in the Strait of Hormuz were hit by naval mines, as it described new maritime and regional attacks following recent U.S. strikes, according to CNBC Markets.
The outlet reported that U.S. forces completed another wave of strikes on Tuesday against multiple Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps sites across Iran.
CNBC World said Iran framed the actions as retaliation, linking the reported mine incidents near Hormuz to the broader exchange of attacks.
