Nvidia keeps quarterly dividend at $0.25 despite surging data-center revenue
Second-quarter revenue rose to $96.2 billion, with data-center sales climbing 117% year-over-year to $89 billion, yet Nvidia did not increase its quarterly dividend from $0.25 per share.
Nvidia reported second-quarter revenue of $96.2 billion on Aug. 26, more than double a year earlier, as data-center sales jumped 117% year-over-year to $89 billion, underscoring the scale of cash generation the company is producing. Despite that growth, the Nvidia board left the quarterly dividend unchanged at $0.25 per share, according to Yahoo Finance. The dividend level has stayed at $0.25 since Nvidia lifted its quarterly payout earlier this year from $0.01 to $0.25 in May 2026. The stock has continued to trade at elevated valuation levels, with shares closing at $217.55 on Aug. 28. Yahoo Finance also cited Nvidia stock being up 18% year-to-date and up 22% over the past 52 weeks, alongside a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 25.5 and a forward price-to-cash-flow multiple of 48.2.
Yahoo Finance said the company has demonstrated it can afford a bigger dividend based on its revenue and free-cash-flow capacity, but has not shown intent to raise the payout since the May increase.
