RJW Logistics to build 1.2M SF facility in Montgomery, IL
The new Karis Park West project is set for completion in the second quarter of 2027 and will add nearly 400 jobs, including expanded capacity for RJW.
Bisnow reports that RJW Logistics Group, Karis Industrial, Development Solutions Inc. and JLL have broken ground on a 1.2 million square foot logistics facility on a 73-acre site in Montgomery, Illinois.
The project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027, and it will bring total industrial development at Karis Park West to more than 1.7 million square feet.
RJW said the facility will create nearly 400 new jobs and provide additional operational capacity for the company, with plans for 40-foot clear heights, 306 exterior docks, 340 trailer stalls, and more than 1,000 parking spaces.
The Chicago deal sheet also noted leadership moves at CBRE, three senior Capital Markets appointments at Becknell Industrial, and several additional transactions, including an $11.5 million purchase of Bloomingdale Plaza and a $25.5 million acquisition of a 210,000 square foot industrial property in Lake Zurich.
