Robinhood Chain sees $2.66M to $2.82M in app revenue in 24 hours
DefiLlama data shows chain revenue of $963,612 on $1.07 million of chain fees, but Robinhood has not disclosed a bridge to GAAP revenue.
Robinhood Chain application revenue totaled between $2.66 million and $2.82 million over a rolling 24 hour window early on Sept. 1, highlighting a spike in network activity. CryptoSlate reports that the figure is derived from DefiLlama’s tracking of application revenue as a separate layer from chain revenue and chain fees, and that public disclosures do not provide a formula to map those numbers to Robinhood’s GAAP results.
DefiLlama’s dashboard showed $963,612 of chain revenue during the same period, with $1.07 million in chain fees. It also reported $963,612 as gas revenue remaining after Ethereum execution and blob costs and an Arbitrum Expansion Program share, but the available information still leaves Robinhood’s exact corporate take unquantified.
CryptoSlate notes that DefiLlama’s revenue tables attributed the largest portion of app revenue to trading bot GMGN at about $1.11 million, with token launchpad Pons second at about $1 million. On the protocol fee side, Uniswap led the corresponding table, while Robinhood has described its monetization in transaction terms rather than app revenue.
Robinhood CFO Shiv Verma, speaking on the company’s second quarter earnings call, said the company earns a few basis points per transaction, with about half shared with Arbitrum, and that it focuses on transactions rather than transaction volume. CryptoSlate adds that other short term indicators were mixed, including 24 hour chain inflows down about $20 million even as rolling 24 hour decentralized exchange volume rose to about $1.4 billion and chain wide real world asset market cap increased to about $163 million.
