Sality Botnet has been dismantled after nearly eight years of activity that targeted both bitcoin and ethereum, Decrypt reports.

According to Decrypt, investigators worked with CrowdStrike and the DOJ to isolate more than 15,000 infected machines as part of a malware takedown conducted across four countries.
