Lineage REIT extends RSU ownership plan to about 22,000 workers
The REIT says its follow-on Lineage Legacies program granted RSUs to about 15,000 team members last year and most recently in July.
Lineage, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed REIT focused on temperature-controlled warehouse facilities, said it has expanded employee equity benefits tied to company stock after its 2024 IPO.
According to Nareit, the company issued its one-time “Starting LINE Awards” to approximately 22,000 global team members, either in the form of stock or restricted stock units, with award levels based on tenure. Eligible U.S.-based employees received stock or RSUs, while eligible workers in select international markets received cash bonuses to reflect local regulatory and market considerations.
At the same time, Lineage launched Lineage Legacies, an ongoing program that provides eligible employees RSUs that vest over time and are designed to connect team members to the company’s long-term performance.
Nareit added that Lineage operates 498 facilities across 19 countries with about 24,000 workers worldwide, including roughly 16,000 in the U.S. The article also states that last year approximately 15,000 team members received Lineage Legacies grants, with the most recent awards made in July. Lineage Chief Human Resources Officer Kelly Burlage said the initiatives reflect the founders’ goal of creating meaningful ownership opportunities.
