The Learning Experience to open six Sacramento childcare centers

The planned 60,000 square feet of freestanding space will support up to 180 children per new location and create as many as 30 jobs each site, as the franchise expands over the next two years.

ConnectCRE reports that The Learning Experience, a national daycare franchise, plans to expand across Sacramento with six new childcare centers opening over the next two years.

The new locations will add a total of 60,000 square feet of freestanding commercial real estate in the region, with each center sized at up to 10,000 square feet of indoor space and up to a 5,000-square-foot playground.

Each new center is expected to employ as many as 30 staff members and certified teachers to serve upwards of 180 children between 6 weeks and 6 years old, according to ConnectCRE.

The Learning Experience is Florida-based and owned by private equity group Harvest Partners, and it reported having 491 centers open and operating, including 488 in the U.S. and three in the U.K.
