Treasury yields see limited intraday moves in an uneventful session

The 10-year yield mostly traded within a 2 basis point range during domestic hours, with no major catalysts driving the day’s range.

Mortgage News Daily said the bond market had a relatively uneventful session, despite Treasury yields reaching their highest levels in more than a year.

It noted that the day’s higher yield prints were largely intraday, and that they were not meaningfully above the prior day’s highs.

During domestic trading hours, the 10-year Treasury mostly moved within a 2 basis point range, and there were no standout market movers that shifted rates significantly.

The outlet cautioned that while the session met the definition of relatively calm trading, it offered little comfort about potential volatility risks over the next two days.
