Aviva’s Direct Line home insurance goes live on price comparison sites
The rollout starts exclusively with Confused.com and will expand to other PCWs from late September, with policies offered in Essentials, Standard and Premium tiers.
Aviva’s Direct Line branded home insurance has been made available through price comparison websites for the first time, with a product range built specifically for PCW customers, the UK insurer said via Coverager.
The offering provides three cover tiers, Essentials, Standard and Premium, for buildings and contents insurance, along with variable voluntary excess options and multiple payment methods. Policyholders can also select optional cover extensions and add-ons.
The launch begins exclusively on Confused.com, one of the UK’s largest price comparison platforms, and is set to expand to additional PCWs from late September, according to the announcement.
In a separate note included in the coverage, Coverager said Aviva is shifting its UK commercial business toward larger, more complex clients, with pilots flagging some activities as higher risk than previously assessed.
