Ag companies unveil new grain handling and storage tech
The new systems include an AGI bucket elevator sized up to 120,000 bph, plus smart bin monitoring that uses CO2, odor sensing, and inventory visibility.
Ag Growth International launched the AGI Bucket Elevator to streamline routine and unplanned maintenance while improving safety at grain handling facilities. The system is offered in capacities from 10,000 to 120,000 bph, with discharge heights exceeding 250 feet, and it is designed to speed access to high wear components to reduce maintenance time and downtime.
AIRMATIC introduced the AIRGUARD Air Prep Cart, a mobile compressed air treatment setup by Workmaster for delivering clean, dry and lubricated air to pneumatic equipment. The cart integrates an air dryer with a heavy duty filter, regulator, and lubricator assembly, is available in 3/4-inch and 1-inch NPT port configurations, and supports pneumatic equipment using up to 150 SCFM for uses including railcar gate openers and railcar vibrators at unloading sites.
BinMaster added compact non-contact radar level sensors, including the CNCR-400, aimed at smart inventory control in small processing vessels. The 80 GHz radar sensors are built for sanitary processes and provide accuracy within 5 mm even with turbulence, condensation, and buildup, according to the product description.
Chief Agri, a division of Chief Industries, announced a collaboration with Nebraska-based RealmFive to deliver Red Connect, a smart bin technology integrated at the factory. The system detects grain quality issues and spoilage using CO2 monitoring, odor sensing, and inventory visibility, monitoring both bin headspace and the space beneath the grain mass for a fuller storage-condition view than temperature-only systems.
