The New York Times reports that President Donald Trump said he could halt some US trade with countries that run trade deficits with the United States unless the Federal Reserve cuts interest rates.

HousingWire reports Trump’s remarks came as he urged the Fed to lower rates after August payrolls rose by 162,000 and the unemployment rate held at 4.1%.
