Wabash Marketplace shopping center sells off-market for $8.5M

The 1983-built property spans 2.13 acres and traded at about $243 per square foot, with Marcus & Millichap representing the seller.

Bisnow reports that Wabash Marketplace, a nearly 35,000-square-foot shopping center at 8400 E. Iliff Ave. near Cherry Creek Country Club, was sold off-market for $8.5 million to James Harris.

Colorado Secretary of State documents cited by Bisnow say Harris bought the property from an LLC tied to Denver-based Avia Yehuda Rubin via a 1031 exchange, and Marcus & Millichap represented the seller and sourced the buyer.

The shopping center was built in 1983 and sold for roughly $243 per square foot, covering 2.13 acres, according to the report.

Tenants at the property include a liquor store, tattoo supply shop, boxing and fitness studio, nail salon, and a home decor retailer, Bisnow adds.
