Bit2Me creates Bit2Shield unit for crypto tracing and forensic reports
The new unit formalizes work Bit2Me already did, including processing 1.5 million euros of seized crypto in 2025 for agencies such as Interpol and Europol.
Spain’s Bit2Me has launched a specialized unit, Bit2Shield, to help police, courts, and banks with crypto tracing, seizures, storage, and forensic investigations, according to CoinDesk.
Bit2Shield is legally registered as CryptoShield S.L and will extract wallet data, locate cryptocurrency, and produce digitally signed forensic reports for use in court, the outlet reported.
The exchange said Bit2Shield will also investigate fraud, certify the source of funds, and train investigators including police officers, judges, and banks.
Bit2Me said it processed 1.5 million euros of seized crypto in 2025 for agencies including Interpol, Europol, and Spanish police, using blockchain analytics from Chainalysis before converting the assets to euros through a separate MiCA-authorized entity for crypto-to-euro conversions.
