Dell shares soar as AI orders lift earnings growth outlook
In Q2, Dell reported $47.0 billion in revenue, with adjusted EPS up 203% to $7.04 and AI-related orders reaching a record $60.9 billion.
Dell Technologies shares have surged 310% over the past year, with the rally tied to AI-related tailwinds and rising enterprise IT spending, according to Yahoo Finance.
The outlet said Dell expects adjusted earnings per share to rise 150% in fiscal 2027, after posting record results in the first six months of the fiscal year and raising full-year expectations on exceptionally strong demand across its infrastructure and client businesses.
In its latest quarter, Dell’s top line grew 58% to $47 billion, adjusted gross margin rose 240 basis points to 21.1%, and adjusted EPS jumped 203% to $7.04. The company also reported $60.9 billion in record AI-related orders and $16.4 billion in AI server revenue.
Dell ended the quarter with an AI backlog of about $95 billion and converted $131.7 billion of demand into orders over the past 12 months, Yahoo Finance added. It also cited expanding momentum in its infrastructure business, including AI infrastructure customers surpassing 6,500.
