Equinix expands Nvidia tie-up with Inference Exchange for AI deployments
The Equinix Inference Exchange will use Equinix Fabric to connect enterprises with clouds, networks, and AI providers, while Together AI will supply access to more than 200 open-source models.
Equinix announced an expanded collaboration with Nvidia to launch the Equinix Inference Exchange, a distributed AI inference program designed to help global enterprises move AI applications into production faster. According to the company, the effort combines Nvidia's Enterprise Reference Architectures with Together AI's open-model platform, alongside Equinix's global data center and networking infrastructure.
Together AI is described as a new addition to Equinix's AI ecosystem, aimed at giving enterprises greater flexibility and access to open models as they scale AI deployments.
