Trump bars Bombardier sales in the U.S. without Canadian production
The move lands as Canada prepares retaliatory tariffs on $20 billion of U.S. goods that are set to take effect Tuesday.
CNBC reports that President Donald Trump said Bombardier cannot sell in the U.S. unless the Canadian aerospace company builds there.
The announcement is timed for the eve of Canadian retaliatory tariffs, which are set to begin Tuesday on $20 billion of U.S. goods, according to CNBC Markets and CNBC World.
