Vantage names Yves Charbonneau chief risk officer
Charbonneau takes over from Krista Robinson, who is leaving after five years as Vantage’s chief risk officer.
Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. has appointed Yves Charbonneau as its Chief Risk Officer, succeeding Krista Robinson, who is departing after five years at the company to pursue a new opportunity.
Charbonneau brings nearly three decades of actuarial and enterprise risk leadership across the insurance and reinsurance industries. Most recently, he led the actuarial function at Arch Insurance Company Ltd. in Canada, where he established a portfolio management culture and helped transform enterprise data analytics and strategy to support profitable growth and underwriting discipline.
He has also held board-level governance and risk oversight roles, including serving as a director and audit committee member of Coface SA. Previously, he worked at Arch Reinsurance Ltd. in Bermuda, including roles including Chief Risk Officer, Chief Actuary, and Head of Actuarial Function for Arch Re Europe.
The appointment comes after Vantage’s acquisition by Howard Hughes Holdings in June 2026. Vantage said Charbonneau will also serve as a member of the Vantage Leadership team.
