China signals it could help arrange a Trump-Kim meeting
The South China Morning Post says Beijing is taking an active role in efforts to rebuild US-North Korea diplomacy, including setting up talks between the two leaders.
China has indicated it is willing to support efforts to set up a meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, according to the South China Morning Post.
The outlet said Beijing is playing an active and constructive role in rebuilding US-North Korea diplomacy, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter.
A Trump-Kim meeting could potentially take place, SCMP added.
