Gold.com revenue jumps 99% YOY, but profit and customer growth slide

Gold.com said diluted EPS fell 80% sequentially to 41 cents, while new direct-to-consumer customers dropped 77% quarter over quarter.

Gold.com reported fiscal Q4 2026 results for the quarter ended June 30, released Sept. 2, showing revenue nearly doubled year over year to $5.01 billion, up 99%. However, the company also saw revenue fall 52% sequentially from the prior quarter, highlighting the lumpy nature of a precious-metals trading business tied to spot prices.

Profitability deteriorated sharply quarter over quarter. Diluted EPS was 41 cents, flat versus the year-ago quarter but down 80% from $2.09 three months earlier, while EBITDA totaled $28.2 million, down about 73% from the prior quarter.

Gold.com’s gross margin slipped to 2.2% of revenue, and the company said customer acquisition weakened significantly. New direct-to-consumer customers fell 38% year over year and declined 77% sequentially, with management attributing part of the sequential change to the Monex acquisition, which accounted for 58% of new customers in Q3.

Management added that the slowdown began in mid-March and continued into the first two months of fiscal 2027, and it also cited narrower silver premiums as a margin drag, while ounces sold trends showed a plateau rather than a clear acceleration. Housing: none.
