Mexican prosecutors allege suspects targeted Camilo Séptimo keyboardist Jonathan Meléndez and his family during a search for a bitcoin cold wallet believed to contain millions of dollars in bitcoin, according to Decrypt.

The outlet reports that the killings were connected to the suspected theft attempt, as prosecutors say the attackers went after the wallet they believed was being held by Meléndez and his family.
