Bitcoin Cash jumps 27% after CME futures listing plans

CME Group said it would list Bitcoin Cash futures, and Uniswap surged 11% before ending the session up 5.4%.

Bitcoin Cash surged after CME Group said it would list futures on the token, rising 14% within an hour of the announcement and continuing higher through the afternoon. The move finished the session up 27%, on more than twice Monday's volume, according to The Defiant.

Bitcoin SV also climbed during the same period, gaining 20% alongside Bitcoin Cash. Uniswap, mentioned in the same CME release, spiked 11% but later retraced quickly before recovering to close up 5.4%.

Bitcoin closed lower on the day, while a broad snapshot of activity across the largest non stablecoin tokens showed 64 of the 125 biggest assets rose and 61 fell, The Defiant reported.
