Camden Property Trust chief executive succession plan reaches final step
Camden said D. Keith Oden will retire from an executive role, while remaining on the board as Ric Campo continues as executive chairman.
Nareit highlights leadership moves across the publicly listed real estate sector, including Camden Property Trust’s succession transition.
Camden said co-founder D. Keith Oden will retire from an executive capacity, with Oden continuing as a member of the board of trust managers. The company described the change as the final step in its multi-year succession process, which included promotions of long-tenured team members.
Nareit also noted other top appointments in listed real estate companies. Chiron Real Estate Inc. appointed Matthew Whitlock as chief investment officer, and Extra Space Storage said Noah Springer, its president, will become CEO effective Jan. 1, 2027, as current CEO Joe Margolis retires at year-end.
Nareit further reported that Invitation Homes Inc. named new executive vice presidents, including Peter DiLello for the investment management group and Bill Tierney as chief experience officer, as the company continues leadership changes within its organization.
