Moulin Koira plans $45.1 million flour mill in Côte d’Ivoire
The project discussions covered site selection, water access, and whether to locate the facility in an industrial zone.
Moulin Koira de Côte D’Ivoire plans to build a flour mill in the West African nation with support from the country’s Investment Promotion Center, CEPICI, World Grain reports.
Company officials met in September with Solange Amichia, CEPICI director general, to discuss project conditions, including site location, access to water, and plans for installing equipment and machinery.
The meeting also addressed locating the facility in an industrial zone to support organized industrial development and manage production-related impacts, according to World Grain.
With a reported $45.1 million investment, the company said the mill is intended to strengthen its presence in Côte d’Ivoire’s grain and food processing industry.
