Clear Blue breaks ground on Honeywood Dickson affordable housing project
The roughly $88.1 million development is slated to begin delivering in fall 2027, with construction completion targeted for March 2028.
ConnectCRE reports that The Clear Blue Company has broken ground on Honeywood Dickson, an affordable housing community in Dickson, Tennessee at 841 Cowan Road.
The project will include 228 units across nine buildings on 16.14 acres, with the community reserving homes for households earning up to 30% of the area median income, 114 units for up to 60% AMI, and 57 units for up to 80% AMI.
The Dickson Housing Authority will also provide development-based vouchers for 60 homes. Amenities are set to include a dog park, playground, standalone clubhouse, fitness area, business service center, community room, outdoor patio and grilling stations, and a pool.
Financing for the approximately $88.1 million development will use a mix of tax-exempt multifamily housing revenue bonds and federal and state tax credits, with Studio A Architecture as the development architect and BACAR Constructors as the general contractor. Units are expected to begin delivering in fall 2027, with construction slated to be completed in March 2028.
