Skyworks shares extend gains, boosted by momentum and Qorvo deal

Skyworks Solutions has lost 3.9% from its $92.30 52-week high, but still outperformed the Dow over the prior three months as merger progress helped spark trading.

Skyworks Solutions, Inc., a semiconductor maker focused on analog and mixed-signal chips for wireless connectivity, has seen its stock extend a strong run while still pulling back from its recent peak, according to Yahoo Finance. The Irvine, California-based company has a market capitalization of about $13.4 billion. Its shares have slipped 3.9% from a 52-week high of $92.30 reached on September 11, 2026. Over the past three months, SWKS is up 22.5%, outpacing the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which posted only marginal gains over the same period.

Skyworks has also delivered a larger long-run move, climbing 40% year-to-date and 12.4% over the past 52 weeks, while the Dow gained 8.3% year-to-date and 12.4% over the past year. The stock has risen above both its 50-day and 200-day moving averages since early August, and it is up 61.6% over the six months through September 16, 2026.

Yahoo Finance adds that the recent rally was supported by solid quarterly results and developments around Skyworks’ planned merger with Qorvo. On September 11, shares rose 9.1% in the morning session after CEO Phil Brace said the $22 billion transaction had reached it.
