Target will replace a movie theatre at Laveen Park Place

Target will replace a planned movie theatre as an anchor tenant at Laveen Park Place, a retail center in west Phoenix.

The 140,395-square-foot Target store will occupy the western half of the 16-acre property. Harkins Theatres was originally slated to anchor the complex but opted not to move forward with one of its multi-screen theatres.

ConnectCRE reports that other anchor tenants at Laveen Park Place are already open, including Sprout’s Farmers Market and T.J. Maxx.

The outlet also notes that activity continues nearby at Laveen Towne Center, a 500,000-square-foot shopping center spanning 90 acres, with Kitchell Development behind Laveen Park Place and Vestar developing the project.
