CoinDesk reports altcoins broadly rallied as bitcoin consolidated near $84,000, with 93 of the 100 CoinDesk 100 constituents rising over the past 24 hours.

The outlet said Quant jumped 39% in that same period, while the altcoin season index reached its highest level in more than three months.
