Lundbeck plans to move U.S. headquarters to Greater Boston

The transition will take place over the next year, as the Danish biopharmaceutical firm sets up an innovation hub in the region.

Danish biopharmaceutical company H. Lundbeck A/S plans to establish an innovation hub in Greater Boston and relocate its U.S. headquarters to the region from Deerfield, Illinois, ConnectCRE reported.

The company said the move will occur over the next year.

Lundbeck also linked the decision to its next phase of a Focused Innovator strategy, citing plans to scale opportunities it has created across its portfolio and pipeline, including innovation and AI.

ConnectCRE quoted Lundbeck CEO Charl van Zyl saying the U.S. has been central to the company’s commercial progress and future growth ambitions.
