Saifedean Ammous points to falling Bitcoin volatility as a bullish signal

He says drawdowns have narrowed this cycle, from roughly 87% to 77% and then to about 54%, suggesting Bitcoin is moving closer to an asset institutional money managers can use.

Bitcoin Magazine features comments from Saifedean Ammous arguing that falling Bitcoin volatility is one of the most bullish signals for the asset right now.

Ammous said Bitcoin’s volatility has been declining and that falling volatility is the key development he is watching.

He also cited bear market drawdowns shrinking across the current cycle, from roughly 87% to 77% and then to about 54%, which he said moves Bitcoin closer to an investable asset for money managers.

The segment also discusses why the halving still drives Bitcoin’s four year cycle, why fewer people are buying with leverage at market tops, and how markets could eventually arbitrage these cycles away, according to Bitcoin Magazine.
