Whole Foods retail district Dunham Pointe in Cypress to break ground Oct. 1

Developers said the project has secured financing and already has 14 signed tenants, including Whole Foods Market.

Bisnow reports that Dunham Pointe, a 202,000 square foot retail and restaurant district in Cypress, Texas, is set to break ground on Oct. 1 after securing a grocery anchor with Whole Foods Market.

Trademark Property Co. and partner MetLife Investment Management said they secured financing for the project, which is part of the 1,300-acre Dunham Pointe master-planned community. The development already has 14 tenants signed, including Whole Foods Market, Nordstrom Rack, and Shake Shack, with lease negotiations underway for another 12 tenants totaling 65,000 square feet.

Bisnow also notes that letters of intent have been received from more than 10 additional retailers. The master plan began selling homes in 2021, and more than 1,000 homes have been purchased.
