Solana upgrade enters second public test network

CoinDesk reports that Solana’s 150-millisecond settlement upgrade, branded Alpenglow, has moved onto a second public test network.

According to CoinDesk, Alpenglow is now running on both public test networks so application teams can test their software before the live blockchain switch.

The rollout is intended to provide a dedicated staging environment for checks ahead of the upgrade going live.
