US and China to set up AI incident communication channel
The White House said the next meeting of the new US-China Super Intelligence Dialogue will be held by November.
China and the United States have agreed to create a bilateral communication channel to handle “super intelligence” incidents, according to a statement from the White House reported by SCMP Economy.
SCMP Economy added that the US also said the next meeting of the newly formed US-China Super Intelligence, or SI, Dialogue is expected to take place by November.
China’s Ministry of Commerce confirmed that senior Chinese trade negotiators held their first talks with the US on artificial intelligence, SCMP Economy reported.
