Nine companies file draft IPO papers with SEBI to raise capital
The filings were submitted between September 21 and September 26, with some firms using SEBI’s confidential pre-filing route.
LiveMint Markets reports that nine companies, including Trans ACNR Solutions and Maharashtra Oil Extractions, have submitted draft IPO papers to India’s markets regulator, SEBI, as the primary market attracts more issuers.
The report says Trans ACNR Solutions filed preliminary documents through SEBI’s confidential pre-filing route, while the other eight firms, Maharashtra Oil Extractions, Jagatjit Agri Engineering, Jai Parvati Forge, Koolking Industries India, Sai Infinium, SG Encon, Mount Everest Breweries, and Ultravibrant Integrated Energy, filed standard public draft documents.
According to LiveMint Markets, the proposed IPOs would be used for a range of corporate purposes, including business expansion, working capital needs, repayment of debt, and general corporate requirements.
The report also notes that under the confidential pre-filing mechanism, companies can submit draft offer documents to SEBI and the stock exchanges without making them public immediately, with later disclosure coming after the next stage.
