Solidcore leases Upper East Side retail space in new Langdon building

Solidcore, a strength training brand known for high-intensity workouts, has signed a retail lease for space at 1695 Second Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Commercial Observer reported.

According to landlord broker JLL, Solidcore will take the entire retail component of the new 23-story, 51-unit residential building being developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners.

The building, dubbed the Langdon, includes 2,507 square feet designated for retail, though JLL did not disclose the lease square footage, asking rent, or lease length, Commercial Observer said.

The outlet also noted that plans for the nearby Third Avenue retail corridor from East 72nd to East 60th streets showed an average asking rent of $252 per square foot in the second quarter of 2026, citing a CBRE report.
