Strategists flag risk of a modest near-term market correction
RBC Capital Markets said its review of past major drawdowns suggests several typical warning signs are not showing up now.
MarketWatch reports that strategists at RBC Capital Markets believe a modest correction could be in the offing in the near term.
The firm’s analysis looked at previous significant market drawdowns dating back to 1956, and it found that many of the indicators that often appear before past selloffs are lacking at present.
