AUD/USD slips below 0.7000 after Reserve Bank of Australia remarks
The move followed the RBA raising its cash rate to 4.6%, while signaling further hikes remain possible.
AUD/USD fell to nine-week lows below 0.7000 in the European morning as traders reacted to cautious remarks from Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Michele Bullock, FXStreet said.
FXStreet noted that the pair reversed an earlier brief uptick and moved lower after the comments.
The article also said the RBA raised the cash rate to 4.6%, as widely expected, and left the door open to additional rate increases.
